Paper Lantern Makeover | Green Wedding Shoes
One of the cheapest ways to decorate is with paper lanterns. And painting/decoupaging is one of the easiest ways to make them your own! This is a beautiful mix of flowers cut from fabric and pastel paints in coordinating colours. Although it’s designed for a wedding it would be perfect for any room of your house. I can see these in baby’s rooms too - maybe cut out animals or abstract designs?

Mail Basket | Design*Sponge
I am terrible when it comes to mail - I open it, put it down… then can’t find it. I try putting it all in one place but that never lasts! What I need is this smart looking mail basket right next to my front door to pop it in when I get it. I love the combination of wood and leather. Of course if you don’t want to use leather, a strong fabric strap or ribbon would work just as well (just make sure it’s strong enough to support the weight!)

With all the amazing fashion websites out there now, the internet has removed the confusion that fashion can be these days (what’s hot?! what’s not?! how do you do that top knot thing that all the cool girls are wearing?!) It has also made me look at my clothes and think about how I can re-style what I already have in my closet instead of going shopping. I love all the knotting that is going on these days - especially knotting maxi skirts!
